We also hosted a cross-cultural Birthday party, reuniting a young woman and her family to their ancestral roots on her 40th Birthday

The Akan go to Cuba

Akan is the traditional spiritual system of the Akan people of Ghana. We took a group of Akan practitioners on a cultural exchange with the descendants of the Yoruba people in Cuba. An exchange like no other!

Gambia

We traced history in The Gambia, met Kunta Kinte’s of ROOTS fame, 8th generation descendants, sponsored a teacher education program, and a school lunch program for the students. We relaxed on untouched Atlantic beaches and dined at top restaurants. A truly purposeful journey that connected us with the soul of the local community
